The driver never picked us up at the airport as promised. We called the number on the voucher & the guy said he waited 3 hours for us & we would just have to get our own taxi. (Our plane landed at 4:30. It was 5:00) When we checked in, the Book VIP staff said they would handle it—they did not. They basically accused us of lying & made us eat that cost. ($100 US dollars)

We were promised a water view room. We did not get one. We offered to pay to upgrade the room, but since we were Book VIP customers, they wouldn’t let us.

We were promised 2 catamaran tickets as part of the package. We did not get them. We asked about them every day, and got the same looks & dismissal every day....

The staff at the resort itself were wonderful (waiters, bartenders, maids) but when we didn’t buy their timeshare, the book VIP folks no longer treated us like humans.

Just go through the resort!! Don’t use bookvip.
