We went in April and we had a fabulous time. Yes we attended a small presentation. Literally it was just us two and the company and we picked our time. Wasn't an inconvienance at all. We had an awesome room as well and our trip was 499 for two people!! We weren't married yet but had to Proove we were living together. Simple as that. Notorized letter and addresses matching. We had a blast looking into another one now!

This has been the most amazing trip we ever had. We highly recommend Secrets through BookVIP

The best hotel I have ever stayed in. Everything about this place is superb; the accommodation, beach, pools, entertainment, food, location and staff were much better than expected. We stayed for a week in the top notch bungalows which were of a high standard and cleaned daily. Eating wise we used every restaurant but preferred the Seaside Grill where we were always well looked after by the staff. Staff wise all were great but Valentina (in the lobby), Ronnie (seaside restaurant) and Charlie (entertainments) are worth of note. Thank you BookVIP!

It was a great deal and we saved a lot of money so just giving a shout out to BookVIP

This was my Wife and I's first time flying international and to Mexico. Upon landing, headed through Mexico customs which wasn't a problem at all, be sure to fill out the top AND bottom portion of the form either on the plane or while waiting in line. (*Don't stop to fill the form out in the hallway, go straight to the customs line!) Andres was our concierge and he absolutely made us feel like royalty. A rose for my wife and glasses of champagne. His cheerful attitude was so welcoming and set the tone for our whole trip of first class customer service. He checked in on us daily and any question or needs we had, he had an outstanding graciousness and enthusiasm to help. He is an asset to Sandos and truly cares about his clients. Andres, thank you for making our trip wonderfully amazing. Breakfast at Zango is ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL. By far the best food of any meal. Try the fresh juices.Ivan, thank you for helping me learn and your warm greetings every morning. Ivan's remarkable customer service was absolutely appreciated. For every lunch we ate by the pool at St. Trop, try it all, stick with what you like. We enjoyed the Calamari, Fish Tacos, and nutella crepes! (Was not a fan of the burger) And lots of Blue Hawaiians...haha. Tip: Bring LOTS of your own sunscreen. In the hotel gift shop it was $22- $24 U.S. NOT exaggerating. If you do forget, there's a little convenience store at the bottom of the hill outside the hotel entrance, literally outside the gate. Also, in the hotel gift shop the designer sunglasses are marked up $50 over retail (source: sunglass hut website) and they have a $50 off coupon, do your due diligence on price. Cell service: We have Sprint. The hotel Wi-Fi worked great the entire time, it was noticeably fast and seamless. I was able to call sprint for Global cell service so I could text/call without extra fees. Call your phone provider before leaving. No issues using phone. The Pool and beach wait staff were attentive and friendly. Shout out to Luis (Wuicho!) & Sergio who took great attention to us. We tipped when we were served because they work hard. They don't expect a lot and after talking to a few other guests, I'd recommend a dollar per item ordered or a 5 at the beginning of the day and they'll take care of you. US dollars are well accepted, we did not need any pesos. (Rule of thumb, anytime someone brought me something, I had a least a $1 for them. Budget $60- $80 total for exceptional attentiveness.) Worth it. We are not drinkers but "obliged" at many offers for lots of drinks/shots. No complaints on the drinks or food. It's all included so if we didn't like it we just ordered something else! We ate every lunch by the pool so I cant speak to the lunch options inside. All my wife and I wanted to do for this vacation was read by the pool, beach, and lounge. What's great is the entertainment staff had activities for us to participate, completely optional and no pressure, but made it fun nonetheless. Shout out to ADAN (in English, Adam), Valeria, Veronica, Liz & Eduardo. Adan literally remembered our names on first introduction and addressed us with a fun, excited attitude all day, every day. We aren't into yoga but I heard it's great! I did play a lot of water volleyball and had a total blast. We had engaging conversations and Adan, THANK YOU for making our trip UNFORGETTABLE. He is an asset to Sandos and the customer experience. Valeria is the sweetest and we truly appreciate your kindness throughout the week. Thank you for making us want to come back. Valeria - you're the best!! My wife had a "Sandos Experience" spa session, it was an 80 minute variety massage they had a special on for $129 US. The Spa accepts pesos or CC ONLY. The Spa is pretty much the only thing you can not pay for with US dollars. It was $4 CC transaction fee to pay the international exchange for spa. She absolutely loved it and said it was better than any Spa/service visited state-side. Highly recommended. The dinners were excellent, our first night was at Zango (buffet), second was at Seasons - pants required for men. It was a point of contention for some but it's a very upscale feel to the restaurant and does not require a reservation. We ate later, around 8 and it was not busy. The next night was at the Japanese Steakhouse which was delicious. Reservation required for Gaijin (Japanese), it's limited seating and also - Do NOT arrive late, otherwise you're delaying potentially 2-8 other people's meal and can be turned away. Our last night we chose to go outside of the resort to Ruth's Chris steakhouse at the recommendation of a friend. If you do, take the R1 bus, it's $1 per ride/per person and it'll take you into the mall & shopping area as well. Every night there were AWESOME entertainment events (of course drinks always flowing). Professional dancers one night, Lady Gaga, & FIRE DANCERS!!! Everything was very impressive, as a professional arts background- we were impressed and pleasantly surprised by the quality and diversity of live entertainment. Big points for the Saxophone player also! The room was beautiful, we were fortunate to get exactly what I requested-king bed with ocean view & balcony. It is a "chic" boutique, classy feel to the rooms which were cleaned and restocked daily. There was construction improvements on the exterior of the building but it looked like they were almost done. I would expect by the end of the month the construction noise will have subsided. It wasn't obtrusive, and there was the resident DJ that played mostly House & Deep House during the day by the pool. We happen to love that genre so it was very enjoyable/relaxing. Hardly audible by the beach in case that's not your style. The front desk staff will break up your dollars for tip money but dont count on it every day. They're not a bank. Also, if there's something you need, ask your concierge. The concierges seem to be much more helpful for anything other than check in/check out. Addressing some concerns I read about: The music is music, they added other genres for some time and it didn't ruin the atmosphere in any way. The upper and lower pools were warm, but it's 90 degrees, what do you expect? The middle level pool was noticeably and enjoyable cooler (perhaps because it's larger?) Secrets hotel shadow, we had full sun until about 4p.m or 5p.m at which point half of the pool area was shaded and the other half had sun, after being out since the mid-morning, the shade was welcomed! (I guess winter months have a different location for sun exposure.) The room had very hot water available at all times and the A/C worked very well. The resort is absolutely making progressive improvements towards increasing customer satisfaction and actually implementing many changes based on suggestions made by previous guests. Thank you Andres, Adan, Ivan, & Valeria for making our second wedding anniversary celebration picture perfect. I would highly recommend BookVIP& Sandos Luxury Experience Resort.

We booked through BooKVIP and I have to say was extremely pleased with the entire trip. I definitely would NOT hesitate to recommend BookVIP to my friends or family.

I had 5 nights with my family. We were 2 adults and 2 kids and everyone loved the hotel. Food was great, lots of choice for everyone. Loved the a la carte Italian. The pool area we used near block 2900 was perfect for the kids to play and adults to relax. Animation team were great and created a brilliant atmosphere around the area. Pool bar staff were very attentive. Shows at night were west end style and our kids were actually invited to go in The Lion King show which was terrific. I would also recommend the on site swimming with dolphins. We did the adventure package which is the middle one. A great experience. We also used the spa facilities which were lovely and tranquil, lots of treatments available. It is a big hotel but golf buggies are on the go all the time. Would love to go back here in the future. Very disappointed in my experience that I want to leave early and go home. Online it appeared to be a top notch place but this is not the case for the resort that you have sent us. I am very disappointed and have more in depth reasoning.

My husband and I just came back from our trip to Cabo San Lucas. What a wonderful, unforgettable time. Stayed at Villa Del Palmar and couldn't have asked for a more accommodating place. Staff was wonderful and food was outstanding. Several pools to choose from, and a beautiful beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Nightly dinner shows were very entertaining. You can be as relaxed as you want or as active as you want. Had a bike taxi ride through town, visits the oldest church, meet some wonderful people who we have kept in touch with. Can't wait to go somewhere else, maybe Cancun.

Customer satisfaction is the mainstay of BookVIP’s business and the issues you encountered with the BookVIP Customer Service representative are being investigated and will be dealt with appropriately.

Our promotional packages are subsidized up to 77% of the retail rate by the participating resort provider.

To ensure that these rooms are available to the customers for whom they were intended, the participating resort provider sets forth certain eligibility requirements that must be met in order for BookVIP to be able to offer the package to potential guests.

The eligibility requirements can be changed at the resort’s discretion. BookVIP is only the booking company and must abide by the resort’s dictates. It was the resort who contacted BookVIP stating that you were not qualified for tour due to the previous bankruptcy.

Ultimately, you were granted a “courtesy” tour of the property and the resort did not charge us (or you) any penalties.

I had booked a $99 3 day 2 night vacation at the Kennebunk Inn in Maine. After showing up for our 90 minute presentation we were told that we would not qualify because we had a bankcruptcy of which we were discharged from in 2014.

In the terms and conditions of our agreement for our book vip vacation it stated no person may be in bankcruptcy or have any liens. Since we have been discharged 2 years ago and have no liens we agreed to the terms. We were then told at capital resorts that we would not qualify for financing because we had a bankcruptcy within3 years so they told us that they didn't want to waste our time. They told us to call Bookvip and they would still honor the $99 rate.

When I called I was put on hold several times, the woman and guy that I spoke with were hRd to understand and kept hanging up on me. When I did get someone she kept saying you have to pay the penalty. She couldn't speak English and that is all she could say. I went back and spoke to James at Capital Resorts and he stated that he spoke to his financial institution and they would allow us to get financing and we went through with the presentation.

James called Bookvip for us and stated he cleared things up. We no sooner were done with the presentation and we got a call from someone who was very rude and he said we owed $150 per night and did not believe me when I stated that we went through the presentation. He said he would call us back when he got ahold of capital resorts but he never did. I have never been treated so rudely.

I would never recommend you company to anyone. You had better not charge my credit card the penalty either as you will be hearing from my attorney.

Hanging up on people and hard to understand is common for BookVIP. Then they change the dates and tell you your hotel is not available even once you have purchased plane tickets.

Hotel was amazing with excellent service and concierge.The atmosphere is so FUN and lively.The food was great with my favorite being the hibachi grill Silk City!! The beach service was incredible. The entertainment team is all day every day in the performances, at the beach, hosting events. They are so fun and so personable!! We LOVE Fior & Sanders & Abrahan!!They took excellent care of us and made all the events so fun!Thanks so much BookVIP

We saved probably over $5,000 for our week in paradise. We were very skeptical of what we were going to get when we got there because of the price we paid but I can recommend Bookvip 100%. The company is 100% legit

This was our first all inclusive, adults only vacation and our travel agent suggested Punta Cana and Secrets. WOW! Such pampering...EXCELLENTE! The grounds, our room and the food and entertainment were tops. We have been on several cruises...but never again having been to this resort. Loved the entertainment provided and the special charm of Milky Way on the entertainment staff who genuinely seemed to care about clients having a good time. The dual concierge service provided by Carmen and Marcelo when I had a pair of bifocal sunglass frames break, was above par. They actually tracked down some glue with the maintenance staff and came to get me at the poolside bar to fix them...now that is service! We met a great variety of international guests which helped to add to our enjoyment. The beach is fabulous...palm trees galore and plenty of chaise lounge chairs available. You won't go wrong to spend your vacation here.

Bookvip - The food is really good, it's 24 hour all inclusive, you can order anything they will take it your room to your no problem, drinks are great and the whole experience was amazing.

We have just returned from a wonderful visit and do not have a single complaint.We have been to many all inclusives and the food here was by far the best. We loved the no wrist bands and not having to sign up for specialty restaurants. The buffet food was excellent, especially the asian evening. We loved the hibachi so much that we went there twice - it was amazing. Food is always high on my list of priorities and the food here definitely gets a 5! The entertainment staff did a great job and tried so hard. The outside entertainers were not great but it was still entertainment. The hypnotist was the best, and American Idol. This is definitely a family resort and not too wild at all. Young people who want non stop partying will be very disappointed. All the staff were so helpful and friendly. We were surprised and dismayed to see how little the guests tipped. I really think all the workers deserved some extra $$ to show our appreciation of how hard they worked. They were wonderful. We walked into Puerto Morelos a couple times - a very easy walk on the beach. There was good souvenir shopping there, much more variety than in the hotel gift shop. It is a very cute little town with a nice little church. The road to the resort is horrible but since we were not driving and our vehicle wasn't getting destroyed, who cares? Just remember to add extra time to any commutes, especially after a big rain. Overall our stay was wonderful. There was something for everyone. We would definitely recommend this resort to anyone.

The Terms and Conditions are reviewed with each guest during the sales call and the guest must agree to same by electronic signature before the reservation can be finalized. The Terms and Conditions are also located at the bottom of every hotel/resort offering page on our website.

That being said, we have made several attempts to contact you to discuss some options you may be interested in and await your response.

Here's a response I sent to BookVIP when they asked for my feedback. I had paid for a $499 deal to Cancun, and after all taxes and fees were added, the price I paid was $612.

I booked and paid at least a month out. What followed was an aggravating nightmare (almost every day for an entire month). Here is my response:

"BookVIP is horrible. You guys will never get a good review out of me.

I lost track of how many calls, emails and texts you sent me claiming that if I didn't call you back immediately, I might lose my reservation. I made a dozen or so calls back worried about my reservation only to be told that nothing was wrong. Why would you idiots keep sending me messages like that??? I even hit "STOP" on the text replies and you still kept sending me text messages!!!

I even talked to your phone reps and told them to make a note not to call me anymore!!! You guys suck.

Worse yet, you guys tried to rob me of an additional $100. For an entire month you kept stringing me along, telling me to call you (then only to tell me that nothing was wrong with my reservation), but when I was only hours away from boarding my plane, you guys called me one more time and said I still owed $100 in hotel taxes and fees!!! Why would you wait until the last second to tell me that??????

I argued with two phone reps and a "supervisor" who finally told me I could "settle the balance with the hotel". I hung up very angry. When I arrived at the hotel, I brought this up. I paid my vacation in full, even confirmed that I had a zero balance with the hotel, yet I have a phone message from you saying that I owe the hotel fees of $100.

Even the hotel had no idea what you were talking about. *** guys.

Don't ever contact me again. I will be sure to destroy your reputation as best I can as a "booking" agency."

This is one of the best vacations we've ever been on. I highly recommend it. We did it through Bookvip and they took care of it. It was very simple. The took care of our vacation to the resort. This has just been one of the most amazing resorts. The pool is amazing. The food is amazing and we've had a blast!

First and foremost, please be reminded that you were notified one (1) day after you made your reservation that the resort would be unable to honor your travel dates. Your reservation was cancelled per your request and you were never charged for the vacation package.

Because the resort partner is paying the 70% discount on your behalf, these amazingly affordable vacation packages are marketed separately from the main retail resort/hotel reservations department. That is why you were advised that the resort didn’t have your reservation when you called the main number of the resort.

As you can imagine, these promotions sell like hotcakes and as a result, every once in awhile, the participating resort discovers that the rooms have been over-booked. Therefore, the reservations are honored on a first-come, first-serve basis.

BookVIP, as the booking company, is then put in the uncomfortable position of bearing the bad-news to the guests.

We are happy to hear that you ultimately were able to visit your resort choice.

SCAMMERS DISRESPECTFUL REPS. LIARS CALLED HOTEL MY RESERVATION NEVER GOT TO THE HOTEL!! THEN I GET AN EMAIL TO CALL THEM STAYED ON HOLD FOR 30 MINS PLUS. FOR THEM TO TELL ME THEY CAN'T BOOK MY HOTEL BECAUSE ITS FULL I TURNED AROUND AN MADE MY RESERVATION DIRECTLY TO THE HOTEL HAD NO PROBLEM AT ALL!!

THESE PEOPLE ARE FAKE WITH FAKE REVIEWS.

THE REPS HAVE NO CLUE OF WHAT THE *** IS GOING ON THE BARLEY SPEAK ENGLISH!! THIS NOTHING BUT A NIGHTMARE PLEASE SAVE YOUR TIME AND ENERGY DON'T GET TIED UP!!!!
