Thank you for your valuable feedback and definitely understand the issue. I am glad we were able to resolve the issue to your satisfaction. The reason why the rooms are up to 80% discounted from the retail rate is because the resort is subsidizing the room in exchange for your time during the resort preview. Each customer must meet the terms & conditions which is set forth by the resort and we go over with customer. Each customer signs the terms & conditions. As we explained, the resort does not allow for “group travel” which consists of family/friends during the same travel dates. We booked a trip to Cabo and are to arrive on Monday June 15th thru June 20th 2015.My wife called to verify if we need marriage lic or just drivers lic when attending the 90 min presentation.

The man on the phone 5 days before we arrive said your room is on hold. She was upset of course and asked why. He said through social media we have detected that someone you know is going as well. We asked who.

He gave the name and my wife stated we are not aware of the person. What has happened is one of my daughters friends at school a few years back played soccer with her parents booked a trip apparentky same week after school let out. What i have been told is that its just the parents going. We dont hang out with the parents and were not aware of them and where they are or live.

Due to my daughter being my friend and the daughters it links us up. They want another 1750 dollars for a group rate. We have tried to battle this. They have informed us they will drop the additional fee to 1067 dollars to allow us to stay.

So we are showing up with a emailed confirmation that we received. They did confirm the other people going live in another city and are taking a different flight. They were going to give us there phone number to call and ask to split the cost. My wife said isnt that illegal..he paused and said i will call them..

Understand this add was put on facebook as a getaway for 399 for 5 nights. Seems as a scam to get more money out of you. Not a happy customer...only minday will tell.

We plan on flying in to cabo regardless.
