You are correct. As advertised on our website, the resort is “Oceanfront.” The rooms are not advertised as being “Ocean View.”

As with any purchase, if it is not indicated that taxes are included, it is understood that taxes will be added to the advertised price.

You can save up to 80% of the retail rate on the promotional packages because the resorts are subsidizing the cost of the vacation in exchange for meeting the eligibility requirements and attending the resort preview.

It is the participating resort provider who provides the limited number of rooms offered under the promotion. Any upgrades can be discussed directly with the resort when you check-in.

Your package is not refundable because you declined the Trip Guard Insurance which is offered for every purchase. This insurance would have allowed you to cancel up to 14 days prior to your scheduled travel dates and receive a full refund with no questions asked.

Since the insurance was declined, the purchase is final and non-refundable. If you decide to cancel your scheduled reservation, you will receive a store credit for the full amount you paid.

Made reservation over the phone. We thought we were getting an Ocean Front room.

We paid $349 plus an additional $80 in tax a fees. When we read the fine print that said receptionist Ocean Front and not Ocean View, which apparently means something different. I can get the same room for $92 a night and not have to pay an extra $30 in online 3rd party booking fees.

When we call them three times they told us too bad they couldnt upgrade our room or get a refund. I paid about $100 more than I should have in addition to having to attend a time share briefing.

We saved hundreds of dollars booking through Bookvip.com!

We just spent a wonderful anniversary vacation at the Tahiti Village thanks to Bookvip.com. This is a wonderful hotel.

BookVIP did a really great job getting us a room.

Just want to say that this is the friendliest casino to visit in Las Vegas. I had interactions with numerous employees. Ticket booth, security showroom employees etc. Everyone was so helpful and always smiling. Went to see Barry Manilow and the showroom was set up very nice. The staff both at the ticket booth and the showroom did everything to accommodate my disabled brother. The show was fantastic with great seats. Also met and talked to Martina O.T who is a security guard after the show. What an amazing person and very helpful. Also won a football parlay while I was there. November 3 which was my birthday and Westgate made it extra special. Thanks to all. By the way I happen to live in this great city. VEGAS STRONG

Thank you BookVIP, marvelous job.

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are looking to have a fun time. They have a good variety of restaurants, bars and entertainment. I loved he beach club! They have a different party every day in the afternoon and it was a blast. I also liked that if you woke up early you could reserve a day bed overlooking the water at no charge. Another great thing about the hotel and Cancun in general is that you can easily walk to bus transportation to anywhere you want to go in the city. I’ll comment on a few of the concerns people have posted about. Bracelets: this hotel does have 3 bracelet options indicating which restaurants and bars you can eat at. The black bracelet is the best as it doesn’t have any restrictions. You are able to pay $50/day to upgrade to this from the basic purple bracelet. For me, it was worth it. Cups: some people were concerned that the drinking cups were not cleaned out well. They do look to wash and sanitize them. In addition if you don’t like it you are allowed to bring or buy a cup and they will gladly refill it included. Beach: some people thought that the beach was on the dirty side. It’s not really any better or worse than any other beach. They do have staff that walk about and help clean up. The waves are a bit rough but if you are a decent swimmer you will be just fine. Safe Lock: these are not included and cost $7/day. Worth it for a peace of mind, ask when you check in so you don’t have to wait in line twice. Check in: we were smart to arrive mid week and had no problems with checkin. It maybe took 15 minutes at the most. Staff: the staff here was very friendly!! They were always very helpful to answer any questions you have. Recommendations: as tourists I think it’s important to tip your staff and support the local economy. In addition this property does have a lot of Peacocks. It’s sad and embarrassing that people get drunk and try to take out feathers or chase the peacocks. I think that guests need to be normal human beings and leave them in peace or the hotel should remove them and find a better home for them. Overall I loved this hotel and met a lot of great people. It isn’t your luxury hotel but it’s great for having fun.

As you were advised in August 2017, both of your open-dated vacation packages were cancelled for non-payment due to credit card decline.

We never heard from you and your reservation was cancelled. You were never ever charged.

We booked a trip to Cabo through Bookvip in August 2016, and paid for it.

Ten days later we get a email from them saying we needed to contact them. I called them and they told us that the place we booked our stay at was full and they could not honor the reservation.

This was ten days later and we already booked our flights and transportation. And of course they try to up sale use the next day, so I told the lady on the phone that we were not interested in booking anything with them even with the extra three day US trip they wanted to give us. I flat told her no thank you (I DON'T TRUST YOUR COMPANY).

This sounds like a bait and switch to me. I WOULD NEVER TRUST THIS COMPANY ESPECIALLY IF YOUR TRAVELING OUT OF THE USA.((((BEWARE))))

All of our special promotional packages are sponsored by the participating resort partner. Because of the high demand for these amazingly affordable vacation packages, every once in awhile, the participating resort discovers that reservations have exceeded the allotment.

Although this happens rarely, it puts BookVIP (as the booking company) in the difficult position of being the bearer of bad news.

Book vip is full of *** and a scam and rip off to make money , they book your rooms only to get your money in advance and then in a few days email you to say they were over booked and you can add additional money to the reservation to get another hotel that's not upscale and for Claire at ext. 0247 to lie and say she was a manager only say's that she is full of *** and she is into scamming just as Book VIP...I wouldn't allow my dog to book a trip with them & for anyone who's looking to book, Don't.

You were notified of the allotment issue the day after you booked (2 weeks before your travel dates). You agreed to change not only your resort but your destination as well, from Hilton Head, SC to Miami Beach, FL.

We waived ½ of the price difference to compensate you for the inconvenience.

Although it is disappointing that your expectations were not met upon arrival at the resort, that issue should be directed towards the resort, not BookVIP. BookVIP is the booking company and is not in control once you arrive at the resort.

Do not book with this company, huge scam, they are just trying to take your money and they will put you in 2 star hotel, make sure they have updated calendar, I booked originally in Hilton Head on specific dates by speaking with the rep, however they called my couple of days before ( I think they just e-mailed me, not even gave me a call) stating that those specific dates are no longer available, when I already booked PTO, flight tickets, car rental. I changed my plans and booked Newport beach hotel and resort and when I checked in I checked out within half hour, place was close to 2 start hotel.

Bookvip - We have no regrets. If it seems to be good true - it is NOT. I was skeptical but everything was absolutely magical and perfect!

Stayed here for 5 days. Simply the best hotel you can find in Papagayo Gulf. The staff is always willing to help you. The food is great, with the system ALL INCLUSIVE, you can eat and drink as many times as you want, no restrictions. The beach and the pools are for relaxation, you cannot surf, but you can enjoy nature. Great location, great service, great food. Highly recommended this resort and BOOKVIP for making it happen.

We really like to thank BookVIP for this experience we have had a great time!

Our stay at Westgate was more than a 5 star rating and we owe everything to BookVIP. We enjoyed everything the resort offered. We are from Miami,FL and we didn't think Tennessee would steal a piece of our hearts until we stayed here. The restaurant there has amazing food. Whoever makes the mashed potatoes knows what they are doing. My kids love it loved it. Our server was a young man named Chris. He made us feel very welcome & did his job very well. He ways had a smile on his face even though he seemed to have a lot of tables to wait on. Overall, Westgate was an amazing experience for my family & I and we will be back next year!

This is a horrible company and I'm extremely disappointed!!! I arrived in cancun yesterday July 20th to what was suppose to an amazing ocean view room, which we were promised by Alejandro who booked our room, but some how got a room facing the Lagoon.

When I called to ask about this, which by the way there is no toll free number outside of the states, I was told all they could was review the recorded called and but a rush on it to verify I was given that information and that I would receive a call from a supervisor not later than 5pm.

It is now midnight no call or anything so I once again pay to make another phone call in which I am told that their is not supervisor on shift and it will take 3 days to review calls, umm hello my trip is only 5 days how the *** is that suppose to help me out???? Horrible customer service and horrible experience...

BookVIP.com is a scam!

Don't be fooled by these scam artists. Go to BBB and TripAdvisor and look up the horrible reviews and massive number of complaints. They've been able to maintain their A rating because they've "responded" to every complaint filed with the BBB. But, you should consider the quantity of complaints. 150 "closed" complaints within 12 months, not counting "open" complaints. They don't even operate under their true business name, and their address is a PO Box in Natchitoches, Louisiana.

BookVIP.com is a front for a company named: Resort Vacations International. It took me a lot of research to uncover this. Try looking at RVI's website... what a joke. These *** scammed my wife and I out of $500 for a reservation we tried to get a refund for 2 months prior to the reservation dates, and now they are attempting to charge my bank account for another $500 for an additional reservation that was never confirmed, nor approved.

We lost our original $500 because their refund policy is good for 3 or 7 days from booking. They want the entire fee up front using some b/s about how space is limited and you need to pay up front, far in advance to secure your spot. READ THE FINE PRINT! And, make sure you research *** like this BEFORE you get taken.

This is all a scam to sell time shares. Read the complaints on Better Business Bureau. I already filed mine. There are hundreds. People who couldn't get refunds or had their reservations/resorts switched, and even rescheduled, at the last minute after paying for airfare, etc, etc.

Remember, if it sounds too good to be true, well... that's because you're getting scammed my friend. Don't let these bastards rip you (or anyone you know) off too! They got us.

They changed my reservation without telling me. I only found out about when I went to make a payment today.

I asked for a refund, but was told I couldn't, because it was after the 7 days. Remind you I made this reservation back in October. Made changes to my reservation in December. Neither time did they tell me they changed my hotel.

I went from a 3 bedroom condo to 2 bedroom hotel room. They refuse to give my money back tried to speak with a supervisor for two days with no return call.

DO NOT do business with this company, they seem very underhanded. I have never had been so dissatisfied dealing with a company
