Bookvip in North Miami Beach, Florida - Great Experience/ Ignore the Negative Reviews

My wife and I booked a trip to Los Cabos in 2016 and we will be booking a trip to Cancun for June 2019 with BookVIP. I read the fine print (conditions) and knew what to expect.

If you book a $599 all inclusive trip for two, there certainly is a catch. You must attend a time share presentation. Do you really think BookVIP offers these low packages out of the kindness of their heart? We had a wonderful time, didn't purchase but returned this year to another Villa Group resort and purchased an even year package.

I have read many negative reviews and one thing is obvious, Those writing the reviews didn't read/understand the written terms and conditions. You must be married in most instances, you must have a major credit card in YOUR OWN name, you must meet age and income requirements, you must attend the presentation. There are other fees involved that are listed under the conditions tab. I will be paying $19.95 gratuity fee for each night.

You must have valid ID. You must speak English or Spanish in other countries. You must book in advance, especially during the holiday season. We also check the reviews (independently) of any resort that we consider and make our decision based on those reviews.

Hotels and resorts offer discounted packages in order to sell time shares and BookVIP advertises these properties. No doubt there are legitimate concerns but the majority of the negative reviews are not legitimate in my opinion.

Bookvip - Chaos!!!

First off, we booked our resort six months before. Not going to lie, I’ve read so many reviews; especially negative ones, and scared myself to the MAX!!!

Then June comes, it was our time to go enjoy our family vacation. Then the unexpected things happened. Our baby started getting rashes, then the plane got delayed. So, we took a chance anyways and if was planning to call it quit if the baby couldn’t take it anymore ( it was not that bad) until...

the plane got delayed, they boarded everyone on the plane. We sat there for a good 30 minutes, and we couldn’t get off. Then after 30 minutes they told us to get off the plane and there’s no way we were gonna make it to Cancun. We got a new flight tickets (which we should’ve) to fly the next day, but we didn’t want to risk going while the baby was still recovering from his rashes.

I took a chance calling BookVip, even though I thought I would lost the package already... so the next day we were supposed to go again, I decided to call them ( I didn’t ask for her name, my mistake) she apologized of all that had happened to us, and offered to give us an open dated of 12 months for us to book whenever we are ready!!! We were sooo happy. So we thought we had a second chance to book our vacation again, because I’d like for it to happen again this year; since we take our family every year.

At least once a year! I decided to call bookVip again and made a reservation for August. Since July was booked! I can tell you that the booking process took quite a long time and I had to make lots and lots of phone calls, and I mean LOTS!

Even after I received the confirmation number from the resort I was still unsure if it was a scam... I was so paranoid lol. I just wanted my family to have a wonderful vacation. I’m sure they got sick of me lol, but if that’s what it takes for my family to have a great vacation; then I’d do it!

Since my husband and I don’t have matching IDs/states; we had to bring our marriage certificate to prove that we are married. They did tell me that I could bring a copy, but I didn’t care I brought the original one; just in case!! Yeah I was that bad lol. So when it was time for us to go on our vacation, the back of my head was unsure about so many things that could go wrong when we get there...

Anyways, we arrived in Cancun. We didn’t have to wait long at all for our ride. They were there waiting for us, there was another family that were in a shuttle with us too. When we got to the resort, we were greeted and they gave us some drinks and some damp towels; since it was so hot (again didn’t ask for their names).

We checked in at the front desk, then went to our concierge her name was Carla ( I know for once I didn’t forget) she was sooooo nice and also offered us two other restaurants that were not included in our package that was all inclusive. She also gave us room service; which was so convenient, because we did ordered room services everyday while we were there. I should’ve asked her for WiFi, but I thought she gave us a lot already and I didn’t want to be so greedy lol. She also asked if we’re celebrating anything special.

I told her it was supposed to be our anniversary in June! On the second or third day, I’m not sure. she was supposed to surprise us with the cake but we happened to be in the room so we broke the surprise. We thought that was so sweet of Carla.

Oh, and the cake was delicious!!!!! Oh also forgot to mention the room, we knew that we didn’t get ocean front, but when we got into our room we were so blown away. Omg talk about Space!!! We had a one bedroom suite room, the balcony with a hammock and it was somewhat ocean view!

The view we got from our room was definitely beautiful!! My husband loved the architectures of the resort. They always keep it clean and we don’t know how they do thaT!!! Overall we had one memorable family vacation, everything turned out so perfect, the resort, the room and everything was so perfect!

Thank you so much BookVip. I’m not sure if this trip would had happened if I have booked it somewhere else since I didn’t purchased any trip insurance; we would’ve lost it all and I would’ve a mental break down for a while. Thank you again BookVip for making our family vacation a perfectly memorable one. I also have a 3 free Westgate at Orlando/las Vegas that came with our Cancun package that I supposed to call when we get back For those of you who are saying is a scam.

It is not, you really just have to follow the rules.

BookVIP did everything. Thank you BookVIP!

Great place to stay! Close to Disney.

They have a bus that takes you there and picks you up. They have putt putt golf, water park, restaurant, store and other things.

Nice clean quiet place. Great place to take family.

Sad This is my first experience with your company, At first I was very excited to receive this gift from a "raffle " I was a little concerned about the deposit required but saw no harm. I am now very disappointed.

I was not made aware in writing or verbally of any cancellation or rescheduling policy when I first booked nor was it on any of my emails until today. I am very upset since I am unable to get the days off of work and needed to reschedule. I called the customer service line, they were unable to help me and when I asked for supervisor I got ignored. I would like my $58.35 deposit back.

If I had known this from the beginning I would have waited to book. If I am unable to get refund, then I would like to reschedule my dates for when I can get time off of work.

BookVIP saved us a lot of money!

I would defiantly stay here again! The food was delicious!

All of the staff are great if you visit oceana ask for Luis he is super attentive. When you try the Italian restersunt ask for Omar or Diana great servers. At the bar have Noemi make you one of her mojitos she does super good drinks! The intertainment in the pool is fun lead by Hugo.

And at night Rolfi does a good job as well!

If I had to change something it would be the pool it is 5 ft all around and my kids are not good swimmers so we were forced to buy them floatings to keep safe. If they made the pool less deep this place would be perfect!

Amazing offer from BookVIP. Thank you!

We had a great stay at Kings Creek Plantation over the Fourth of July. We had a very nice two bedroom townhouse with a cool and refreshing pool only a couple of feet from our condo.

The kitchen and dishwasher was a big help and we had a TV in every room. I would stay here again.

We saved over $500! We used BookVIP!

The Berkley is very new and the place is clean and spacious. We were on the 18th floor so we had a wonderful view of Las Vegas.

My only concern is we kept getting shocked with the key card while trying to open the room door. Maybe because its a new hotel with the carpets. The staff tried many times to rectify the problem but no luck.

Hopefully, when I return again to The Berkley that problem can be solved because it was getting really annoyed and frightening being zapped all the time. Tip: walk over to the casino to get the free shuttle to the strip.

Because each and every customer is valued here at BookVIP, we tried to contact you for over a week via telephone, text message and email regarding each of your reservations in the hopes that we would be able to update your credit card information and ensure proper billing.

We never heard from you and your reservation was cancelled. You were never ever charged.

They took my money off my card said my room was booked got a email saying room not available no more and want give me my money back they say now everything booked were we was going then done talk to 6 different people they act like they can't here or keep hanging up in my face after I been waiting to talk to someone 45 mins later there sorry I recommend no one to use this Fack website I'm warning you

then it say they open 24 hour but they just told me call back tomorrow between the hours you no good

Ishould have really listened. For those of you who are traveling and looking for discounts and deals on a trip and your interested in BookVip.This is a VERY risky idea. I learned the hard way. After reading multiple and extensive reviews on negatives.

I foolishly still booked with them. (Because I thought this is too good to pass up.) So let me tell you my very current and recent experience. 3 months before my trip I actually purchased a trip with BookVip. After the rep told me how great it was, how awesome it is, after confirmed availability.

They charged my card for over $300. This included 4days and 3nights in Miami. I was satisfied with my purchase. UNTIL I called the hotel 2 weeks prior my stay that they supposedly had booked for me.

Hotel confirmed multiple times that they don't bsee my reservation. I then called BookVip back after being on hold with the reservations Dept for about 45min. They told me I'm sorry they are unavailable. I pressed my case on how BookVip charged my card and even sent me a receipt.

I told them why didn't they call me and tell me my room was unavailable...the just kept apologizing over and over and over..but wouldn't issue an refund. They kept telling me it can be credited for another trip. (IF I TILD YOU FIRE IS HOT AND IT WILL BURN YOU, WOULD YOU BELIEVE ME???)....BookVip is that fire...and if you use thier services you are at extremely risk of an unexpected un-garunteed trip. If you read bad reviews..(BELIEVE THEM)..

go with your gut, this company is deemed bad... Believe the reviews...once they have your money, they can careless of your trip/vacation ...even if you get trip protection (Read their fine print) alot of stipulations)...this a very recent review June 2018....
