Would not use.
this place sucks...me and my man booked a vacation like 3 days later they called and said that one is not available. they gave us a list we talked to 4 people before we booked the next one they took are payment then 4 days later called and said no to that one.
now they say it be 7-14 days business days til we get money back.This was my families x-mas they are messing up.
now we have to scramble to find a new deal.thanks alot.not!!dont use they are no help. no wonder they sale things so cheap cause they call later wanting more money.

BookVIP helpful and persistant to find elderly fun anniversary vacation.
I had submitted a previous poor review of BookVIP that I must straighten out. It appears that the company is a booking company for resorts and they do not set the stipulations and only follow the resorts request.
After posting my complaint the company called and apologized for any misunderstanding. They made sure that the card was not charged and went out of their way to find a new vacation that my elderly parents did qualify for. They were kind and respectable the during the entire transaction and continued to try to be helpful.

I think it is a scam.I tried to book a deal on their website. They take your reservation and credit card first.
Then you have to call to confirm. I called to confirm. They did not have any rooms left at the place for that deal.The person was not in United States. Took 10 minutes for her to understand my name and email.
Tried to get me to book at another place with none of the amenities but,at the same price.
Duhhh. No.
Discriminate against older people
This company is not a standup company. They advertise specials and after my father purchased and paid for the vacation they informed him, during the post pay phone call, that since he is 70 years old he did not qualify for the special.
WHAT? That is ridiculous, older adults are often the people who want to purchase a timeshare because they have the money to buy it and the time to visit. How tacky.
i would not recommend getting involved with a company like that.

Well, BookVIP did contact me but in no way resolved the issue. Yes, I was given a refund.
But I was not given what I purchased in good faith, my vacation when I wanted to take it. They did offer me a substitute vacation in April- I NEVER vacation in April, only February and because they didn't have that open, agreed to the first week of March.
But of coarse, they already knew that when they offered me a vacation they knew I wouldn't want!!!!!!!!!!!!! As before, STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

Booked a trip to Costa Rica. Got an email stating to call and when I called.
I got Will and very unwilling to help. Did not check for availability and brushed me off the phone saying there are no bookings.meanwhile I already booked my airline ticket in which is not refundable . Asked to speak to supervisor and he hung up on me twice . There must be more than one customer service rep?!
I did not get my answer whether I will have a hotel to stay. Very disappointed in their customer care.

SCAM!! Stay far away from this company , they informed me I won a sweepstakes for a vacation and only needed to pay 96 dollars for taxes and had 18 months to use it.
Called this evening to book the trip and they told me I wasn't able to take my girlfriend on a trip which I promised her already because we are not yet married. If you get an email from them don't be as naive as i was as they did not explain any of this when I called originally.
Now i have to make other arrangements after I have booked flights and everything. Terrible experience!

The REAL price of $460 (after taxes/resort fees) for a 4 night/ 5 day stay probably would have been acceptable IF they would have advertised it THAT price.
Their $299 statement of "Price Is Per Room For Entire Stay - Not Per Person, Not Per Night" is extremely deceptive. This is a bait/switch and very misleading because the undisclosed add on taxes and resort fees. Just be real and disclose them at the onset.
They have offered me a refund, lets see how THIS plays out.
Their DECEPTIVE tactics are not needed when this is probably an OK deal hidden under all of the deception-- Just call a PIG a PIG and quit attempting to sell it as a "pig in a poke"

I have made a reservation for vacation to Cancun in Crystal Resort for my husband, my daughter and I. I got the confirmation for three adults.
Then I made a reservation with Airline for three people.
Next day when I called them. they told me I have to pay $80 per night extra for my daughter. It was over our budget, so I talked to the supervisor Cheryl, who told me after for ever on the phone that it will cost me $300 extra. Our representative made a mistake.
So I canceled the vacation.
And paid fee to the airline to cancel our flight. I just don't want this to happen to other families.

These losers could not even address the real issue-that they offer a nice resort knowing it is booked and expect you to settle for a lousy resort. The old bait and switch.
And they try to deflect blame to the resort! STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!
I stumbled upon the website for Book VIP which sells resort rooms for less if you agree to a timeshare presentation. The deal was good, so I purchased a stay for 3 nights at the Hollywood Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale and called to book my dates.
The dates I originally wanted were booked, so I booked 3 nights in March 2016. Imagine my surprise when I started getting emails to call them.
When I did, this company said they made a mistake and did not have dates available in March and wanted to send me to a *** Ramada instead! This is the oldest trick in the book, and certainly illegal!

False advertising. They are NOT BBB accredited.
Couldn't even find the company on BBB website. In a response on this site to an upset costumer they states all information and restrictions are available before booking. Maybe after you submit your credit card info but I couldn't find any restrictions before entering credit card info.
I'm reporting them for false advertising since they are not BBB accredited and claim they are. Please join me.

This is a scam, they reel you in with a good price, then add costs and restrictions. Customer service is non existent, no supervisor to speak with either.
They charged my credit card twice, and then added more charges to the end of the deal. Each step was just more, and more charges. Complete scam and waste of time, 3 phone calls and 3 hrs. Then when I tried to cancel, they hung up on me, when I called back I was on hold for 30min, only to have someone say they would "call me back to cancel." One of the worst experiences I have ever had.
Go to another site, they are many that treat customers better than BookVIP.com.
Do not waste your time or money.

False Advertisement and disrespect by your agent
I am making a complaint about your agent, i booked for an hotel paradise cancun resort today around 10:30 pm to 10:50 pm
when i called to confirm for my reservation the guy said that the fact that me and my girfriend were not married do not allow us to go to this hotel... When i looked to the term and condition it was saying married or cohabiting together, when i told the guy, he put me on hold and took it off, in front of me say refresh please; very disrespectful and after he try to sell me another package of a 100 more, so instead of 299$ like in your website saying it 399$ but wait a min he said it comes up to 502$ at the end of the road to include your taxes,,, i looked to your website,,, it doesn't talk about taxes,,, you should write 399$ + Taxes to your ad...
So all this is bad customer service, and false advertisement... I am going to cancel the airplane tomorow...
Bad agent... If i was your boss and believe me; where i work if one of my people would treat all my clients like that, i would fire them...

GIVEN FALSE INFORMATION-RIPPED OFF MY MONEY
I CALLED TO BOOK A TRIP ON 7/16- I WAS ASKED TO READ ALL THE TERMS AND CONDITION WHICH I DID AND ASKED THE REP FROM BOOKVIP, IT SAYS I NEED A MAJOR CREDIT CARD BECAUSE I DONT HAVE ONE AND SHE SAID DOES YOUR SPOUSE HAVE ONE I SAID NO THEN SHE PLACED ME ON HOLD CAME BACK SAID IT WAS OK, I SAID ARE YOU SURE SHE SAID NOT A PROBLEM I CALLED ON 8/31 TO CONFIRIM AGAIN ABOUT THE MAJOR CC VS. DEBT NOW IM TOLD THAT I CANNOT USE MY DEBT CARD AND WILL NOT REFUND MY MONEY I ASKED FOR A MANAGER AND WAS TOLD THEY WERE ON A BREAK THEN SAID WILL ONLY REFUND 129.00, I PAID 229.00.
I GET RIPPED OFF FROM MY MONEY RUINED WEEKEND PLANS FOR THE 6 OF US THAT WERE GOING TO THE GRANDVIEW IN VEGAS FOR THIS LABOR DAY WEEKEND BECUASE OF YOUR STAFF THAT SAID I COULD USE MY DEBT CARD WHEN I TOLD THEM TWICE I DID NOT HAVE A MAJOR CC...THIS IS ALL ON RECORDING WHICH I WAS TOLD THEY WOULD LISTEN TO, I BEG THEM TO LISTEN SO THEY CAN HEAR THE INFORMATION THAT WAS GIVEN TO ME...THIS IS A RIP OFF I WANT ALL MY MONEY BACK THIS IS NOT FAIR THAT OUR PLANS HAVE BEEN RUINED AND YOUR KEEPING MY MONEY BECUASE OF THE WRONG INFORMATION YOUR OPERATOR THAT BOOKED MY RESERVATION DID!!
SOMEONE NEEDS TO CALL ME BACK AND NOT SWEEP THIS UNDER THE RUG THE WAY THEY BRUSH ME OFF YESTERDAY ON THE PHONE, SORRY IS NOT GOING TO CUT IT WITH ME!!

I'm sorry that happened to you, but this review is a bit unfair. When I booked the exact same trip, they were clear about the pricing being for 2 adults & 2 kids.
I was told that 4 adults, (bc we're traveling w/o kids), would incur an extra per night fee per adult(s) exceeding 2. I'm assuming that's the case here.
The info wasn't volunteered to me though, I asked before booking. You have to do your due diligence w/ offers like these or your assumption(s) can cost you money.
My review was total truth, My be they were clear with you with their pricing, but I was with their representative for more than 30 minutes and made sure that he new what I was asking for. They called me and told me that they made the mistake.
So you don't know what happened to me, I didn't assume anything. They offered me a free trip if I say that I made a false review, but I wasn't going to do that.
So please don't judge me, I am a very honest person, I do not leave a bad review for any one unless they deserve it. I just didn't want this to happen to another family.
