Bookvip Vacation Booking Review from Aldie, Virginia
I was trying to book a vacation and after putting all my info and paid I needed to call to confirm a reservation so I called in and I was told I have to attend a 90 presentation for timeshare which was ok for me but then since I don't make more than xK a year as a combined income they cancelled my vacation. That's how bad they are .
Vacation ruined by bookvip
i called after finding their informaiton on fb.. they help me get a suite for room for 399 when the advertisment was for 299.. i went with it and added 3 extra days.. they confirmed the booking is done.. so i went ahead and canceled my reservation that i had with another hotel.. couple of hours later i get a email..not a call but a email to call them back.. i call back to get the news that they have no rooms available, and to change my date.. I work for a public school district and this is the only time i get off.. we had our plans set till i ran across bookvip.. when we called to complain they only can say sorry and nothing else..
one hour later they sent a email again saying that i canceled my reservation.. wow.. these people are liars..
its a full scam and my vacation is ruined becuase of them..
Bookvip - Vacation Package Review
I feel bookvip is a scam, as of right now I have been dealing with there sales people who cannot and will not give a correct answer. They try to lie to you but you catch them in their lies.
Right now we booked for a 5 star resort and they are trying to put us in dump three star. They cannot and will not give straight answers, and say they will call back but never do. I do believe they offer top resorts and then put you in the lesser or lowest resort of that chain. I feel this how ordeal is a scam and have wasted over 5 hours trying to straighten this out with no help.
They don't email you so there is no record of anything that was talked about. There is not even a confirmation email on payment very shady.
I will be following up daily until my issue is resolved.

On 3/10/2016 my daughter and I booked a vacation with Bookvip with vacation dates of 4/18/16-4/23/26 at a certain resort; we paid over $612 for those dates at that resort; we booked by phone to make sure those dates were open; the next day my daughter got a call from the company and they said those dates are all sold out and we had the option of staying at another resort that was basically a dump or change our travel dates; we said no to both as neither was acceptable to us; our flights are paid for and our vacations at work are during that time; they still charged my credit card for the amount of the reservation that they say is fully booked and they can't accommodate; I only authorized them to charge credit card for that resort and for those dates; I asked them to cancel the reservation ( even though why would I have to cancel a reservation that doesn't exist because they overbooked) and on each phone call we made back to them they want us to call back after next Wednesday; I'm not ***; that happens to be after deadline to cancel with no charge; the phone rep said it takes weeks to months to get a refund. BULL!!!
As fast as you can charge my card, you can credit it. This was fraud. I only authorized them to charge for that trip and even though they say it's sold out, they charged my card anyway. I called my major credit card company and explained what happened and that we need that money to book our trip.
The credit card company agreed and attempted to make a three way call with them to get them to agree to s credit immediately so she could reverse the charges but all we got is the long period of being on hold and then call got dropped. We are going to try again on Monday. What this place is doing is fraud. They charge your credit card vacations even though they know aren't available.
Stay away.
This is a classic bait and switch. Why are these people still in business
Bookvip - Vacation Package Booking Review from Braselton, Georgia
I went on Bookvip because we heard so much about Westgate in orlando we actually thought about buying timeshare. When the opportunity came for us to take a small vaction BookVip came on my facebook page.
So I went to reserve and low and behold 4 days later is when the horror began. I recieved a email for me to call and when I called they let me know that someone who I didnt know was traveling to the same hotel and i needed to cancel my reservations. So I ended up caneling and reserving for another Westgate resort and here I go again another email anothe persons at the same hotel. When i told them that my husband was retired military they said we couldn't book.
I felt like they were being prejudice against me and they have my card information and here today i still have no reservations. I recieved a call today and still no reservation. My vacation was planned for the first week in April and its ruined because this has taken so long.
I am so disappointed that contacted this company. Veronica Reid
Bookvip Hotel Reservation Review from Atlanta, Georgia
We book a three day get away with BookVIP, I thought everything was going to work out week till we got to the site and were misled about what was included in our stay. Paid resort fee and still has to paid $20 a person to use the waterpark that was inside the resort. Then attended what we thought would be a 90 minute tour, but ended up being 4 hours!!!
Booking was cancelled but my credit card charges have not been reversed.
This was cancelled within the 7 day window. I received two confirmations on January 23 of the cancellation and the charges would be reversed within 5-7 days.
It is now 5 weeks later and the charges are still on my card. I have been diagnosed with an illness that requires me stay close to home until my medications become regulated. So I may not be able to take a trip this year.
I need this resolved immediately.
I am attaching a copy of my cancellation notice. Please contact me as soon as possible.

BookVIP...all I want is my Money back
On the actual site it says "per couple" which normally means two people. Normally "couple" doesn't mean having to be married or living common-law, it's two people. No where on this site does it define "couple." So, when I booked I was told I would receive something from the resort. I never did. When speaking to an agent through BookVIP they asked what my partner did, his work, etc. I told them. Just recently found out the resort wants proof of living together two pieces. I own the house, own it for ten years, dating this man for almost four years. In no way, shape or form will I put any type of attachment of my partner's name to this house! I tried to get my money back, they said I can't, which is not right. Find out this presentation that's suppose to be 90 - 120 minutes is about buying some sort of real estate properties...no where in their website do they stay what it's about, which is the catch for the low prices. Someone I knew went, they didn't want to purchase the real estate, and they were treated like dirt, that's wrong.
Also with the common-law status, so what happens if the couple breaks up in the mean time? We are paying for a vacation we can't even do? That's wrong. I'm suppose to leave April 04 and still fighting with this...wish I could just get my money back and say the heck with it.
One: the website should define "couple"
Two: the website should state WHAT the presentation is about.
Three: you can't really plan anything because you really don't know which days this presentation is going to be because they can't give you an exact day just a day or two into your stay which a stay could be three to five days.
Four: BookVIP doesn't like to send anything in an email, and the resort never sent anything stating what's expected. I happen to like things in writing.
Five: BookVIP says press the # key and they will call you back...didn't work for me. I had to stay on the line anywhere from 30 - 45 minutes before someone answered.
All I want is my money back. Never again will I book with them.
- Lie to get people to book
- Poor customer service
- To get a refund is a fight

They need a new system
This has been the single worst experience booking a vacation. If I weren't so desperate for a vacation where I didn't have to worry about spending money when I got there I would have canceled long ago.
I had plane tickets I had to use by 03/24/16. The price is great, but the hassle and stress, not so much. We are now less than a week away from leaving and still are not sure what hotel we are staying in since we have not gotten the final confirmation. First, don't get too comfortable (or set) on a specific hotel you will likely not get your first choice.
We have now chosen 4 different resorts (more if you count the ones that were $700 more expensive and ruled out right away after talking to them and finding out what the price difference was) I booked my flight at the same time I was booking my vacation on line, having thought that the reservation I was booking on-line was good. Then the website says to call in to confirm.
When you call in, they tell you that hotel is no longer available ( I guess so they can talk you into another more expensive hotel.

Not feeling the love !!!!
Missed our flight in Orange County due to weather, informed book vip, and they wanted to charge a $199 change fee !worked thru that and then ask for an additional day and they refused not happy but reconciled to the fact my vacation in Cabo was a day less. Fun then starts......
Received an email to call asap and they ask if I was traveling in a group, how do you prove you are not ??? After 25 minutes on the phone they said ok we believe you. Ready to relax and have lunch at the hotel SW airlines provided for us we get a call from vip once again asking if we are traveling in a group and if we are they are canceling our reservation. After another 30 minutes on the phone they decided we were being truthful.
Doesn't end there 2 more emails and 2 more phone calls I was over the top and not even sure I had accommodations when I got to Cabo. Good news is we got to Cabo and had a driver to pick us up and are now lounging poolside bad news is I spent an entire afternoon stressed out over proving I didn't know some random person. The funny moment in all of this is when we landed in Cabo and the driver was waiting for us we met the party that we were accused of traveling with and they were coming from east coast and missed their flight as well. They did not have the pleasure of all the harassing phone calls because every time they tried to reach vip the were hung up on.
Bottom line, the property we are staying at informed us they have dropped this travel agency. My advise is to steer clear !!!!

Complete Waste of time and Uncertainty of Fraud Westgate Gatlinburg
I was thinking that I was booking another family vacation for Gatlinburg Westgate. Only to put my Card information in, and receive a confirmation...Then told to call a number in which, I was told in order to book this, I had to be between 30 and 70 years of age, with a minimum income of 60,000.
This information should have been provided before I put my most important information in. Im not sure if my card was charged, if my information was saved to a database. Fraudulent Transactions are at a High Peak right now. Not only that, But I also tried the Down payment method for 59.00, and the website kept timing out.
So , again, I am not sure if my information was saved or if and How I can cancel this. This has me very concerned. However, Im more upset at the fact that I thought I was taking my family on another vacation and a great price( We just left Myrtle Beach Feb 19- Feb 22) Booked through Booking.Com.
I guess I should just stick to what I know. I am Very disappointed.

Bookvip - Vacation Package Booking Review from Holt, Michigan
James,
I booked a vacation thru your company on the 7th of this month. Later that week i was laid off and logged onto your site bookingmeter.com on the 13th to cancel.
I sent a message in your contact us link due to after hours. As of today the 18th i have yet to hear back so i called only to be informed that their is nothing that could be done because a confirmation email had not been sent to me. I requested a refund and was put on hold for another supervisor who told me i could give it away and that i would be put on a 12 month open booking. I was told i could find a job within that time period and use it at a later date.
I have 5 kids.....really think i want to use it at a later date? I would rather have my money back to take care of bills now. Funny i had a confirmation email within 10 minutes of hanging up stating i could book within 12 months. Not a very good impression.
I have been charged and still have yet to hear from the actual resort that they recieved my reservation. Really not impressed.
Canceling reservation is a huge hassle!!!
Booked one of their "special limited time only" deals. At no point before I booked did they say anything about having to go to a 120 minute seminar.
Only received that little bit of info after booking. So, called back to cancel reservation. First, the agent kept trying to talk me out of it. When I refused, they kept me on the phone an unreasonably long amount of time while they pretended to get authorization to cancel the booking.
It's always interesting how quickly a business takes your money, but how long they drag it out when it comes time to give it back. Don't bother. Go with Expedia.com.
I've always had good results with them.
