BookVIP could not help us nor would they allow me to speak to a supervisor. They sent us to Expedia which is an affilated travel service.

Expedia then sent us to another affiliation (they did not know the name but it is a reservation payment company which in turn in a recorded message told us to go to our emailed itinerary to manage our reservation.

As we did from the beginning, which was the reason I called is the email itinerary link said we could not manage on that site and to call the number for BookVIP. It's a circle scam!

As our Vice President of Sales spoke to you about, our vacation specialist was attempting to explain the resort's sponsor the discounted vacations in exchange for your time for the resort preview so the reservation can not be moved. However, the sales rep was also attempting to explain that if you not did like the reviews for that particular resort we had other resorts to select from. I was berated terribly, just because I asked the following question.

"What happens if we check in to one of your listed hotels and the hotel happens to be dirty, run down? Are we able to call you and possibly be sent to another one of your hotels?"

I have the date, time, name and extension number of this agent if management is interested. He was just awful. I cannot imagine this company endorsing their employees talking to customers in this manner. I have made 4 additional phone calls attempting to speak with customer relations, a supervisor or manager. Each agent I spoke with were apologetic of the way the agent spoke to me. However, each one stated there was no one to speak to.

We definitely appreciate your valuable feedback and we are glad we were able to get a hold of you and work out a solution. As our Customer Service Manager spoke to you about there was miscommunication with the resort as they believed your husband was not travelling. The reason we can offer packages 70% off the retail rates is because the resorts subsidize the cost of these discounted vacations in exchange for your time during the resort preview. The resort verifies each reservation before issuing a confirmation number as resort is paying the cost of discounted vacation. A majority of the issues occur when the resort finds the terms & conditions are being circumvented in which they believed was the case.

My husband and I booked our vacation with BookVIP for a 5 day stay at the Omni in Cancun Mexico. I was asked to verify my information 4 times with BookVIP (they called every 2 days).

There was never an issue with my reservation. When we arrived in Cancun our reservation was cancelled and we were told we had to pay full price to stay at the resort or leave. They told me I called and said my husband was not travelling with me. I NEVER CANCELLED OUR RESERVATION.

This company is HORRIBLE. They would not give me a full refund.
